Since 1974, our world-class team has been delivering construction consultancy services to the world’s best clients.

We have earned a reputation as a world leader in our field - a global network of local experts. We are a dynamic and fast-growing business, while still maintaining a more personal and boutique-firm feel. From our 20 offices around the world, we work closely with project teams and tailor our services to each client’s requirements, placing great emphasis on building enduring relationships. We have built these long-term relationships with some of the biggest companies around the world, working on a broad range of projects, and taking great pride in shaping the world around us.

1974
Linesight, then known as Bruce Shaw Partnership, is founded.
Brendan O’Mara joins Peter Bruce.
Our Dublin office opened, and remains our HQ today.
We won the Irish International Financial Services Center (IFSC) project in the Custom House Docks, which was the largest project in Ireland at the time - our work here marked a pivotal point for us as a business, securing huge wins with multinational companies.
We began working with our first international tech clients.
Reaching £10 million in turnover as an early milestone in our development, our business experienced huge organic growth throughout the 90s, necessitating a larger HQ in Fitzwilliam Place, Dublin.
Our Cork office opened, following the acquisition of PJ Coveney.
We established our Limerick office.
Once again, continued growth meant that a larger office space was needed for the Dublin HQ, so the team moved to Kestrel House.
We secured our first data center project, for a major international technology firm. We have since delivered 173 data center facilities across the world and over 2400MW of critical power for the biggest search, owner-occupier and colocation providers in the world.
Our Dubai office opened, followed by Bahrain and Riyadh, as well as our office in Paris.
Our first US office was established in New York.
We established our presence in APAC, with the opening of our Sydney office.
We opened our office in Tel Aviv.
Our second and third APAC offices were established in Singapore and Shanghai, as well as another European office in The Hague.
We opened our office in Dusseldorf.
We continued to grow in the US, with a West Coast office in San Francisco.
We rebranded to Linesight. We had been known as Bruce Shaw for over 40 years, but needed a global brand name and identity that we could use on an international basis, and that would continue our brand legacy.
We expanded our UK offices in London and Manchester.
We had a busy year in APAC, opening offices in both Mumbai and Taipei, and established our fourth Irish office in Galway.
Linesight continues to expand globally, growing our dynamic team, solidifying relationships with existing clients and building relationships with new clients, as well as consistently enhancing our service offering.

Corporate social responsibility

We are committed to having a positive impact on the people around us, treating all team members with dignity and respect, prioritizing their well-being and ensuring that their voices are heard in key business discussions. In the marketplace, we focus on fair and ethical operating practices, sustainable supply chains and forging strong, enduring business relationships. We adopt and promote sustainable practices, and influence those of our clients, suppliers and contractors, while always working to eliminate any practices that may negatively affect the public interest. We are committed to the communities in which we work, and to sharing our expertise for the benefit of the local, national and international communities. Early education is a cause that we are particularly dedicated to, as we fervently believe in the importance of ‘broadening horizons’ for all children, and our teams are currently working with and supporting a number of charities around the world.
