John Chavez appointed National President of the Philippine Institute of Certified Quantity Surveyors

John Chavez, Associate Director at Linesight, has been elected as National President of the Philippine Institute of Certified Quantity Surveyors. Based in our Dubai office, he has been actively involved with the PICQS for a number of years. Commenting on his appointment, John noted: 

“Being elected as 2020-2022 National President and Global Regulatory Head of the organization is truly an honor. I recognize the challenges that I will be facing in both capacities; however, with the support of our dedicated Global Committee Heads, Officers and Members, I am confident that the roles entrusted to me will a success. To our valued PICQS members, let us bring the spirit of ‘Bayanihan’ back, and let our country’s construction
industry feel our presence through our existing and future programs utilizing our respective skills, expertise, integrity and ethics.
