Brendan O’Mara
Group Chairman

As founding member in 1974 and now Group Chairman of Linesight, Brendan has guided the development of the company since its inception. He shaped the company vision – to provide the best service from the best people to the best clients – and continues to contribute to the strategic direction of the business. Brendan also served as President of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland in 1995. With over 40 years' experience in the global construction industry, Brendan is recognized as a leading advisor for large-scale developments throughout the world.

Derry Scully
Group President

Along with his fellow board member Brendan O’Mara, Derry was one of the founders of the company in 1979. Derry is a past President of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and a past Chairman of the Irish Construction Industry Council. With his almost 40 years of experience in the industry, he has built strong strategic partnerships with some of the world’s largest multinationals and expanded Linesight's presence across the globe. His specialist skills include accurate early-budget establishment, procurement advice, life cycle and value engineering assessment, and risk analysis.

Gerard Campbell
Group CEO

Since 1981, Gerard has held a number of key roles within the Linesight group. As Managing Director from 2007 to 2016, he was responsible for group operations across all regions. In addition, in recent years, Gerard has specialized in strategic procurement advice for major multinational companies, helping them to successfully deliver innovative new facilities and improve their businesses. As Group CEO, he oversees the strategic direction and growth of the company group, and is responsible for coordinating the regional teams around the world and aligning the global efforts to ensure a consistent and excellent service. 

Paul Boylan
Group COO

During his 20 plus years’ experience in the construction industry, Paul has developed extensive knowledge across all regions and sectors. He has worked at Linesight since 2002, becoming a Director in 2006 and Group COO in 2016. Paul has built strategic partnerships with many of our major international clients, in sectors including food and beverage, high-tech industry, and life sciences. With these clients he has worked on a huge variety of global construction projects. Paul takes a leading role in coordinating operational matters within the group to ensure that clients in every region get the most benefit from our combined experience. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland/Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (SCSI/RICS).

Peter McHale
Group Director

A director of Linesight since 1995, Peter has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. As the leader of our dedicated healthcare division, he has managed several multi-million euro healthcare projects, including some of the largest ever undertaken in Ireland. His full cost control and cost management expertise has guided the development and use of leading-edge cost control techniques, which have been applied to many of Ireland’s most challenging projects. Peter was appointed chairman of our Dublin office in 2016.

Richard Joyce
Group Director

Richard has been with Linesight since 1988 and has established a reputation for working hands-on with key stakeholders to ensure client needs are addressed along each stage of development. He specializes in procurement and strategy advice and has built up experience in all aspects of the construction market, particularly in commercial, retail, and residential. He also works closely with international high-tech clients, advising on many aspects of their capital expansion programs. Richard became Linesight’s Managing Director in 2016 and leads our strategy of attracting and fostering new talent within the company.

Regional Directors

Michael Riordan
Managing Director, United Kingdom

Michael is the Director responsible for our UK operations. He provides strategic advice on a number of cost management services, including development management, optional engineering, bespoke procurement solutions and financial consultancy services. During his 21 years with Linesight, Michael has worked on a range of high-profile large scale developments throughout the United Kingdom and mainland Europe in the commercial, residential, leisure and technology sectors. He has a special interest in sustainable innovations, with a particular emphasis on façade technologies.

Patrick Ryan
Managing Director USA East Region

Patrick joined Linesight in 1997 and has a proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale construction projects throughout Europe, the Middle East, and the US. He is currently Director of our US operations (East Coast region), delivering sound and practical solutions for projects in the mission-critical, corporate interiors, retail, hospitality, and residential sectors. Patrick’s in-depth knowledge of project, contract, and cost management is key to our bid preparations and to the execution of our business strategy.

Steven Cooke
Managing Director USA West Region

With over 20 years of professional experience, Steven has specific expertise in contract law. He continues to provide full project control and cost management services on a number of large-scale and mixed-use developments for our international clients. He is currently Director of our West Coast operations, providing expert guidance across the region. He has full responsibility for business development, operations, resource allocation and management, and service delivery.

John Butler
Managing Director Asia Pacific

John joined Linesight in 1999 and is the Managing Director for our Asia Pacific offices. His experience spans a broad range of sectors, including industrial, mission-critical data centers, pharma, commercial, and leisure. John specializes in project controls, program and cost management, risk analysis, value engineering, and procurement. He is involved in all aspects of project delivery, from inception to completion, and has extensive experience working throughout Asia, the UK, Australia/New Zealand, and EMEA.

Ken Cribbin
Managing Director Project Management

Ken has over 25 years’ experience working in the construction industry and joined Linesight in 2012. He is our Managing Director of Project Management and plays a key role in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with new and existing clients. Ken has particular expertise in project start-up, effective communication, team building, client liaison, and adaptive procurement strategies to ensure value for money and compliance with project milestones.

Shay Dahan
Director

Shay has worked in the construction industry since 2002, joining Linesight in 2013. He oversees our operations in Israel and is responsible for all our projects in the region. Shay has a broad range of experience across every sector, although he specializes in high-tech industrial developments. His role involves cost, contract, and commercial management, as well as directing the provision of our quantity surveying services, including estimation, bid document preparation, bid analysis, and post-contract services.

Damien Gallogly
Regional Director Middle East

Damien has 13 years’ experience in construction and has worked on a number of large-scale projects in varying sectors across Ireland, the UK, the Middle East, and Asia. Over the course of his career, he has developed a full understanding of the specific considerations associated with working on major developments, from conceptual design through to project close-out. Damien joined Linesight in 2008 and today is responsible for our front-end business development in the Middle East.

Ciaran McCormack
Regional Director Middle East

Since joining Linesight in 2000, Ciaran has gained extensive experience in all sectors of construction, including retail, commercial, residential, leisure, health, and education. His core responsibility is project delivery, from the feasibility stage through to completion. This is facilitated by his particular experience in early cost control, cost management, procurement advice, and contract administration. Ciaran oversees our work in the Middle East, where he develops and nurtures strategic partnerships with our clients.

Niall Harrington
Managing Director Safety Management

Niall is a Chartered Safety Practitioner with over 25 years' experience in design and construction safety management. He leads the project safety management team which provides safety services across all sectors. He advises and guides client companies and employers on all aspects of project safety and provides support, advice and practical guidance on all aspects of the project. Overall, his objective is to provide expert guidance to the client team on legislation and best practice.
