The opportunity

At Linesight, you’ll be part of a collaborative, diverse, and experienced team working on high-profile construction projects across Europe and beyond. As a Construction Lead Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all building works on a major commercial construction site in Belgium. You will lead site operations, coordinate subcontractors, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive the project to meet key milestones on time and within budget.


What you will do:

  • Site Supervision: Lead daily construction activities, ensuring work is executed according to plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring high performance and productivity.
  • Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control measures and ensure compliance with QA inspections and building codes.
  • Safety Management: Implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and manage work schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and resolve site challenges proactively.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to project managers and stakeholders, including budget tracking and risk assessments.
  • Materials & Logistics: Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring timely availability and cost efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact on-site, liaising with project managers, engineers, and external contractors.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Lead in large commercial building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and Belgian building regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Safety certifications (e.g., VCA, OSHA) preferred.
