In this role you will: 

  • Assist in the procurement and contract administration of architects, engineers, general contactors and equipment vendors  
  • Conduct prequalification and shortlisting of suppliers through bid analysis and expert negotiation of pricing, making award recommendations as required 
  • Manage contract development, finalisation, and administration with rigorous attention to detail  
  • Create and manage all requests for proposals (RFPs), POs, change orders and invoicing  
  • Track and manage tender process steps including bidder prequalification, tender issue, queries and responses, tender submissions, and post-tender queries and negotiation. 
  • Draft contracts and collate contract documentation 
  • Oversee post-contract management, including providing contract administration advice to the client, claims tracking, and producing and processing contract change orders 
  • Partner closely with the construction project management and cost management teams 

We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Have grown your experience in a cost management, contracts admin or procurement management role within a construction environment 
  • Have experience in pre-contract cost management while being experienced in budget control, cost planning, preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with other project stakeholders while being knowledgeable on alternative construction materials 
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing 
  • Are detail oriented and quality focused 
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
