Environmental Advisor
The opportunity
We are looking for a Environmental Advisor at Linesight, for one of our projects in Finland. In this role you will:
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and environmental policies,
including construction regulations, building codes, and other relevant laws.
Provide guidance and corrective actions as necessary to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
Offer expertise and solutions regarding delivery options and environmental management.
Advocate relentlessly for maintaining a safe worksite, with a focus on safety, quality, schedule adherence, and cost management.
Oversee all environmental-related activities for the program, coordinating with internal resources, vendors, and contractors.
Collaborate with project teams on project controls, safety management, risk management, planning, implementation, and communication plans.
Actively participate in health and safety management and project risk assessments.
We would love to hear from you if you:
Qualification in environmental engineering or a comparable project management/construction discipline.
Extensive experience in construction environmental management, including client/contractor communications and coordination with design teams and other project stakeholders.
Experience in project management on data centre projects or similar critical infrastrcuture projects.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent reporting capabilities.
Ideal candidate would have proficient in both Finnish and English.
Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and adept at building strong relationships with teams and clients through shared purpose, openness, and a positive working environment.
Hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or are actively pursuing one – support is available.
