As an IT/OT Project Manager at Linesight, you will work alongside highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams, nurturing a strong sense of collaboration, trust, and shared achievement. You will gain extensive exposure across large‑scale capital projects - broadening your technical insight, expanding your project leadership skills, and opening new avenues for your career progression.

We will empower and support you to take real ownership of your work, allowing you to shape your own path while contributing meaningfully to exceptional project outcomes. At Linesight, lasting trusted relationships - with our people and with our clients - are at the heart of everything we do.

This role will be based in Qingdao, starting on a 1-year contract.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and own all project management responsibilities for IT/OT scopes, including Building/Utility Systems, Process Equipment, Warehouse Systems, and all related integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, construction, project controls, GE OT, and IT program teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of IT/OT services.
  • Oversee the delivery of critical IT/OT systems such as COPA‑Data Zenon, LES, Siemens PCS7, and interfaces with systems like SAP and PAS‑X.
  • Guide the project through all lifecycle stages, ensuring safety, compliance, and alignment with business benefits and strategic objectives.
  • Support the Project Director in developing, maintaining, and implementing the Project Management Plan, ensuring clear communication and effective deployment.
  • Actively manage project schedule, cost, risk, and governance, particularly within IT/OT‑specific workstreams.
  • Drive strong reporting disciplines and ensure timely, high‑quality decision‑making processes.
  • Identify and manage project changes, performing impact assessments and securing approvals for any scope modifications.
  • Lead ad‑hoc discussions and present outcomes professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with business case timelines and support the transition through H1 and H2 signoffs with effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Capture lessons learned, share best practices, and support continuous improvement across project delivery.
  • Manage project closeout, ensuring all documentation, operational readiness, and handover requirements are met to the highest standard.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have fluent spoken Chinese and good spoken English.
  • Bring experience delivering pharmaceutical capital projects or major programs for international clients.
  • Demonstrate strong project management capability and leadership, with the ability to work independently and guide cross‑functional teams.
  • Possess basic knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA, WCS, and related enterprise systems.
  • Ideally have experience across a broad range of IT/OT integration, including OT systems on IT infrastructure services such as networks, hosts, domain controllers, and identity and access management (IAM).
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where you can own your priorities, build strong relationships, and work towards shared goals with openness and trust.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.
