Power Infrastructure Data Centre Construction Manager

We are actively recruiting a team of professional, driven experts to join Linesight and help us deliver outstanding projects for our clients. Frankfurt has established itself as one of the biggest data centre hubs in Europe, offering excellent connectivity for hyperscale and colocation data centre providers, and is continuing to attract major global investment.
As a Power Infrastructure Construction Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and talented teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective.
In this role you will:
Coordinate & lead the design and delivery of the MV and/or HV on/off site infrastructures.
Support the line manager with current and new utility connection agreements, usage agreements, metering agreements, energy supply agreements, and HV/MV infrastructure delivery, etc.
Provide end-to-end support to key stakeholders and oversee the deployment of utility and infrastructure required to deliver power to project sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical requirements.
Manage power availability issues with utility providers and implement alternative power solutions when necessary to to mitigate power-related risks and ensure uninterrupted operations onsite.
Manage all subcontracting activities related to power, including connection agreements, metering agreements, energy supply agreements, HV/MV infrastructure delivery, design contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Manage, and report each project’s power procurement strategy.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Good understanding of electrical as well as knowledge of the energy use of organizations, with a recognized degree or equivalent (background in electrical/power engineering preferred).
- Previous construction project management experience and related certifications such as PMP or Prince2.
- Extensive experience in power delivery with utility and power infrastructure design and management.
- Proven experience of working with the local utilities, energy service providers, and experience of grid/ network code requirements, and regulatory requirements related to power distribution and supply.
- Experience in successfully acquiring and managing utility connection agreements, usage agreements, metering agreements, and energy supply agreements necessary for power operations.
- Are based either in Berlin or Frankfurt, and willing to travel nationally and internationally on a regular basis.
- Have the right to work in Germany.
- Are fluent in German and English language, both orally and in written.
- Experience of working as a project manager in MV to EHV systems is desired.
