As a Program Manager – Data Centre Leasing, you will lead the delivery of leased data centre projects, acting as the key interface between internal engineering teams and external delivery partners. You will ensure alignment between technical requirements and lessor proposals, driving programme governance, resolving risks, and supporting successful delivery from design through to handover. This role sits within a complex, fast-paced environment where technical expertise, stakeholder management, and programme leadership are critical.
This role is offered on an initial 6 month contract, operating on a remote/hybrid basis, with a strong likelihood of extension.
In this role you will:
Provide programme leadership and governance across leased data centre projects, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and contractual commitments
Act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external lessors, managing technical alignment and resolving escalations
Evaluate lessor design proposals against technical requirements, identifying gaps and driving compliant technical or commercial solutions
Lead technical due diligence, assessing feasibility, cost, scheduling, risks, and site constraints
Partner with engineering, operations, integration, security, and energy teams to resolve issues through construction to handover
Drive partner accountability against contractual milestones and delivery commitments
Own programme tracking, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and progress reporting
Conduct cost impact analysis for design changes or non-compliance, escalating key cost drivers
Proactively identify and resolve blockers to maintain programme timelines
Utilise tools such as Power BI and Office 365 to support reporting and stakeholder communication
We would love to hear from you if you:
Have strong programme or project management experience within data centre, construction, or critical infrastructure environments
Possess solid technical knowledge of data centre design, engineering, and operations
Have experience working with external partners, lessors, or in a client-side/PMC environment
Are confident managing multiple stakeholders across technical and commercial functions
Demonstrate strong risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, complex environment
Have experience managing schedules, cost impacts, and delivery metrics on large-scale projects
Communicate clearly and effectively, with strong organisational and reporting skills
