Project Manager (BMS/PMS) (ML)
The opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with strong Electrical and Controls expertise to lead and integrate all activities related to a specific infrastructure package within a major Hyperscale Data Centre construction project.
This role acts as the integration focal point between the ML package, MEP systems, BMS/PMS, LV/ELV services, commissioning teams, and client technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of large-scale electrical systems, complex technical interfaces, and construction-phase project management on advanced data centre environments.
In this role you will:
- Be responsible for the delivery and integration of the BMS / PMS package, including the associated ML scope, on a major hyperscale data centre project
- Act as the package integration lead, coordinating interfaces between BMS, PMS, controls systems, MEP services, LV / ELV, commissioning teams, and client engineers
- Ensure systems are installed and configured correctly, including sensors, devices, and controls, in line with design intent and operational requirements
- Ensure control signals, system outputs, and commissioning data are accurate, stable, and suitable for operational monitoring and performance baselining
- Identify and resolve interface issues between packages that could impact system behaviour, data quality, or programme
- Manage package‑level programme, risks, costs, and technical deliverables, aligning activities with the overall construction schedule
- Maintain a strong onsite presence, acting as a visible safety leader and working closely with Quality, Commissioning, and EHS teams
- Drive the handover process, ensuring all documentation, testing, and commissioning records are completed for final acceptance

- Have proven experience delivering BMS / PMS, controls, or systems‑led packages on large‑scale, complex construction projects such as data centres, industrial, or other mission‑critical facilities
- Bring a strong technical background in electrical systems, controls, BMS / PMS, and system integration
- Have experience managing specialist subcontractors and vendors through construction and commissioning phases
- Understand the importance of data quality, system behaviour, and commissioning outcomes in operational environments
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Hold a degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
