In this role you will: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor training programs to meet all regulatory and internal training requirements 
  • Ensure that health, safety, and environmental protocols are effectively integrated into daily operations, including monitoring emission limits and erosion control measures 
  • Manage the permitting process by liaising with relevant authorities and ensuring all required permits are obtained and maintained 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance-related documents, including permits, licenses, and certifications 
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, and other sustainability criteria 
  • Conduct random audits of contracts, conflict of interest situations, and other anticorruption measures to ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards 
  • Develop and implement strategies to continuously improve the organization's compliance and sustainability practices 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address compliance and sustainability concerns and implement corrective actions as needed 
  • Stay up to date with relevant regulations and industry best practices to ensure the organization's ongoing compliance 

 

We would love to hear from you if you:  

  • Have a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related discipline 
  • Have experience in compliance management, sustainability initiatives and anti-corruption measures 
  • Have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and permitting processes 
  • Enjoy applying your advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data related to performance metrics and compliance 
  • Have strong problem-solving skills, business acumen and a commercial mindset to create balanced solutions and recommendations on compliance and sustainability issues 
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing  
  • Are detail orientated and quality focused 
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
