The opportunity

As a Senior HR Business Partner at Linesight, you will collaborate with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams, fostering a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain extensive industry experience that will broaden your perspective, deepen your expertise, and create opportunities for growth. We will empower you with autonomy and support, enabling real impact and ownership of your career progression. You will work closely with industry leaders, contribute to the development of our people strategy, and play a key role as we continue to expand across Mainland Europe.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure people operations are compliant in all existing and future regional business locations, including immigration, contracts, policies, and new entity set‑up.
  • Act as a strategic partner across Mainland Europe, applying deep understanding of labour markets, cultural nuances, and regulatory environments.
  • Lead interactions with European Works Councils and local employee representative bodies, ensuring effective consultation processes and compliance with EU and country‑specific legislation.
  • Be the point of contact for employee relations issues and resolutions, ensuring employees and managers receive timely, practical, and supportive guidance.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor leaders within the business to build strong management capability and high‑performing teams.
  • Lead and contribute to global HR projects and initiatives, including performance management, rewards framework development, and talent forums.
  • Deploy global programmes locally — including DE&I, Engagement, and Job Architecture — ensuring effective and culturally relevant implementation.
  • Provide market insights and strategic guidance to Talent Acquisition to support recruiting across the region, ensuring a positive candidate experience and identifying new talent sources and emerging markets.
  • Partner with regional leaders and management teams to deliver people strategies that support commercial performance and business growth.
  • Deliver initiatives that strengthen our culture and enhance organisational performance across Mainland Europe.
  • Leverage local market knowledge and insights to inform the Global Rewards team of opportunities to review and enhance our competitiveness in key European markets.
  • Use deep regional expertise and local connections to elevate the Linesight brand within Mainland European labour markets, strengthening our position as an employer of choice and enhancing talent visibility.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are experienced in leading people strategies, performance initiatives, development programmes, and change management at a senior level.
  • Bring strong HR experience across Mainland Europe, with deep understanding of regional employment law and best practice.
  • Have proven experience partnering with Works Councils or equivalent employee representative bodies.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a commercial mindset to develop balanced, insight‑driven recommendations.
  • Are an excellent communicator — both verbal and written.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment where you can manage your own priorities and drive outcomes.
  • Enjoy building strong, transparent, and collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Are fluent in Dutch (written and spoken); additional European languages are a strong advantage.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.

About us

Since 1974, we’ve been providing a construction consultancy service that keeps clients coming back. And for that we have our people to thank. It takes a special kind of togetherness to create our thriving, authentic culture. We overcome challenges together, delivering better projects and leveraging innovation. We see the potential in our people and we empower them. We’re a business on a journey – an agile business that is proud to be different. We are Linesight. Dynamic. Driven. Different.

Our approach to DE&I

At Linesight, we believe that our success is tied to the success of our employees, and we are committed to creating a workplace that is fair, equitable, and inclusive for everyone. We understand that creating an environment where all employees have an equal opportunity to thrive requires a concerted effort across every stage of their time with us, from hiring and onboarding to promotion, career growth, and development.

As part of this commitment, we have implemented a range of policies and initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). This starts with our attraction pipeline and accessible job descriptions, designed to attract a broad range of candidates, and continuing throughout the employee life cycle with DE&I checks built in at every stage. Fairness, consistency, and transparency are the core principles for all our hiring, salary increase, and promotion decisions with built-in gender pay gap checks. Employee and family-friendly policies also enhance inclusion and equity in our teams.
