This role plays a critical part in driving cost, schedule, change, and risk management performance, working closely with project leadership, clients, and contractors. The successful candidate will be highly proactive, detail-oriented, and data-driven, with strong Excel capability and the confidence to challenge assumptions, identify risks early, and influence outcomes.


In this role you will: 

  • Manage and control project cost, schedule, forecasting, and reporting in line with approved baselines
  • Lead change management processes, assessing cost and schedule impacts and maintaining accurate change records
  • Drive risk management activities, including risk identification, mitigation planning, and contingency analysis
  • Produce clear, accurate reports and dashboards using strong Excel-based analysis
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and potential issues, escalating early and recommending solutions
  • Work closely with project teams, clients, and contractors, acting as a trusted project controls advisor

 

We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Strong experience in project controls on large capital projects; pharmaceutical or life sciences experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of change and risk management frameworks
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and model complex project data
  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and confident challenging assumptions
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders
  • China project experience and fluency in English; Mandarin is an advantage
