In This Role You Will

Take ownership of the Project EWN, Risk and Change management process as set up for the project

  • Engage with the Client and Project SLT to implement the change management process and supplement this effort with the development and maintenance of the EWN registers and compensation event claims and progress through change control where applicable
  • Facilitate weekly EWN/Risk/Change meetings, engaging with SMEs and Risk owners to develop realistic time and cost risk impact assessments, mitigations and residual risk evaluations
  • Ensure risk mitigation action plans are fully developed, risk and action owners appointed against a timeline and project plans are revised as required
  • Manage Change communication and ensure key stakeholders are informed of change orders and actioned as required, taking ownership of narrating the rationale with clarity and brevity
  • Maintain a comprehensive risk register and risk profile for the project, lead and direct the delivery of Project Quantitative Risk Analysis (cost and time)
  • Evaluate the adequacy of contingency as part of the regular reporting cycle
  • Develops and delivers monthly risk reports, externally and internally
  • Develop stress test scenarios on risk events, and using your expertise in QRA, present and deliver outputs to stakeholders' team
  • Support the wider team of risk management professionals by providing R&O training and updates on Risk / EWN / Change processes as required


We Would Love To Hear From You If You

Have significant and demonstrable experience of having worked in complex and culturally diverse corporate environments and are a confident communicator to all levels of seniority

  • Have a College education (degree program) in engineering, business administration or similar
  • Have experience in project risk management & project management (full cycle) or project controls management
  • Highly desirable: Prince2, PMP, APM-PMQ, IPMA lvl D or C
  • Have an AACE PRMP, PMI-RMP, IRM or APM certification or are on the trajectory to completing one. We can help!
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in the construction industry
  • Know the Risk Management principles contained in ISO 31000, COSO, AACE and PMI recommendations
  • Confident with office productivity tools (e.g. MS Office, Google Workspace)
  • Thrive on balancing analytical and strategic approaches in your leadership
  • Are detail-oriented and quality-focused
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your priorities and deadlines
  • You will be working at a Hybrid workplace, where and some travel to the site is expected throughout the project's phases.
  • You will have familiarity with QHSE and championing a safety-first environment.
