Linesight announces the appointment of Martin Prekel as Director - Project Management, based in Singapore.
This appointment reinforces Linesight’s continued investment in strengthening its leadership capability and service delivery in key growth markets.
Martin is an accomplished Project Manager with 15 years of experience delivering complex and high‑value projects across Australia, the UK, and Asia. Beginning his career in engineering, he has progressed into leading multi‑disciplinary teams on mission‑critical data centres, ultra‑luxury residential towers, major mixed‑use developments, event venues, defence infrastructure, and oil and gas facilities.
Most recently, Martin served as Construction Manager for Meta’s SGA Data Centre development in Singapore, overseeing a project valued at more than SGD $3bn. In this client-side leadership role, he guided planning, design coordination, procurement, construction and commissioning for what was, at conception, the world’s largest single roof data centre and Meta’s first hyperscale campus in APAC. His prior roles include senior leadership positions in client side and construction firms, where he led multidisciplinary teams through full project lifecycles from early planning to commissioning and successful handover.
In his role, Martin will lead the Project Management service line in Singapore, driving project execution excellence, client engagement, and the continued development of high-performing teams. He will also play a key role in supporting Linesight’s broader growth and expansion across Southeast Asia.
