Linesight are providing construction consultancy services for Limerick City and County Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland on the €155 million Adare Bypass. The project involves a 7 km motorway, including two grade-separated junctions; river bridges; signage gantries; overbridges/under bridges; and a 200m long 3-span bridge over the River Maigue, removing the existing bottleneck at the Adare Bypass in advance of the Ryder Cup to take place at Adare Manor in September 2027.
With delivery tied to a fixed international deadline and a congested live environment, the project requires strong cost, programme and risk control under an NEC4 target cost contract.
Linesight are providing integrated procurement, cost, programme and risk management, ensuring robust governance and commercial discipline throughout the project. Including detailed and regular cost forecasting, enabling effective change control and providing specialist NEC and Dispute Avoidance Board advice to maintain certainty and minimise risk.
Through value engineering and optimised site logistics, we have put in place measures which reduce construction traffic on public roads, limiting disruption to the local community while improving efficiency.
The project has progressed successfully and remains on track for completion ahead of schedule. Our performance led to an extension of our role to support a further 3.5 km motorway scheme, reinforcing Linesight's impact on critical infrastructure delivery.
