In this role you will: 

  • Work as part of a leading construction team on the largest semiconductor projects in Ireland, supporting construction procurement programmes from inception to completion.
  • Partner with the wider team developing sourcing and negotiation strategies to meet project objectives.   
  • Participate in the review and evaluation of RFP proposals and make recommendations to the wider team. 
  • Support the negotiation of pricing for work packages, analysing information and implementing strategies to ensure value for money. 
  • Become a content expert on owner's bespoke form of contract and method of measurement. 
  • Serve as the first point of contract/communication with stakeholders on commercial/contractual issues.
  • Support OFCI team forecasting and managing on time delivery of key equipment and material items. 
  • Attend change management meetings and report on open change orders as applicable. 
  • Support Change Management process with stakeholders and ensure correct commercial and contractual conditions are met. 
  • Oversee the timely execution of contract releases, and change order management. 
  • Ensure effective coordination of incoming and outgoing contract notices, and prepare contractual notices as appropriate using language from Contract terms & conditions, with Legal support as necessary.
  • Assist in the negotiation and settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.   
  • Review cost saving proposals and identify affected components of the compensation strategy and implications on contract. 

We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Have experience working with a variety of construction contracting strategies in a similar role. 
  • Have experience in unit rate construction pricing and management contracting methodologies. 
  • Enjoy applying your analytical skills to investigate and interpret complex data. 
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing. 
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.
