About our apprenticeships

Our apprenticeship pathway is suitable for those wishing to gain a college degree while developing valuable experience and skills in the workplace. This program allows you to earn while you learn, and gives you study flexibility while you work towards an accredited degree without paying tuition fees or incurring student debt.


How does it work?

The apprentice program is a partnership between Linesight, the apprentice and your selected college. We accept applicants from a range of educational bodies offering apprenticeships, depending on your location and preferred route.

Who is it for?

School leavers or mature students who feel that studying and learning at the same time would suit them. The program duration and work-study split is different, depending on the college you select.

Duration

Generally, we begin the candidate selection process in May and there are two intakes each year in March and September.     


Program duration depends on your educational partner, but it generally takes 3 to 5.5 years for degree program applicants.

About our undergraduate placements

About our undergraduate placements

Our college work placements are a great way of gaining hands-on experience as you study. You’ll work alongside smart, engaged colleagues who will challenge and stimulate you, on interesting projects that will develop your understanding of how the industry works whilst working towards your qualification.


How does it work?

You will be assigned a Placement Supervisor who will develop a personal Learning and Development Plan which will include a blend of on-the-job learning and formal training. Your Placement Supervisor will also liaise with your College Work Placement Coordinator and approve your college assessment materials throughout your placement.   


As a member of the Linesight team you are also part of a wider group of Linesight work placement participants and graduates. You will be included in the various initiatives and fun activities that we facilitate year-round as part of our people investment.

College students looking for work placement opportunities. We accept people from a range of colleges / universities around the world working towards a degree / professional qualification. Applicants are generally studying one of the following; 



  • Construction Economics 

  • Quantity Surveying 

  • Construction Management 

  • Mechanical Engineering 

  • Electrical Engineering 

  • Data Centre Facilities Engineering  

  • Corporate Services (Finance, Marketing, HR or IT)

We accept applicants all year round. Interviews tend to happen over the summer months with placement offers issued in September to commence the following year.

Durations of placements depend on your course requirements and can range from 12 weeks to 12 months.

Our Graduate Program is a global program designed for all new graduate joiners. We welcome applicants from a diverse range of disciplines related to construction consultancy and corporate services. As a graduate you will be engaging across all levels of the business while working on some of the most interesting and innovative build projects in the world.

Our Graduate Program has a range of ‘learning pathways’ which focus on providing you with the necessary framework and support to achieve your chosen professional accreditation. It is designed, using a blend of on-the-job learning, formal training and mentorship, known as the 70/20/10 learning and development model;  



  • 70% on-the-job training 

  • 20% mentorship support 

  • 10% formal learning
