The Level 2 IT Support Engineer will provide second level support to end users primarily based in the EMEA region, but on occasion, support may also be required for users in other locations worldwide. You will need to be a self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritise workloads. Core tasks are to look after operational tickets, build laptops and document processes but as you settle into the role, you will get the opportunity to become involved in a variety of exciting departmental projects.


In this role you will: 

  • Address incidents & problems escalated from Level 1 support
  • Escalation of technical issues to 3rd level support in a clear and timely manner.
  • Build laptops using scripts, InTune and Linesight provided documentation.
  • Provide 2nd level desktop, application, mobile platform and network support to end-users based in multiple locations worldwide.
  • Assist in Desktop OS and application rollouts to include testing and documentation.
  • Support IT and business projects such as Sharepoint Document Management System administration and endpoint security configuration.
  • Efficiently prioritise, manage, and respond to technical troubleshooting requests (live troubleshooting /chat /tickets) via help desk system. (Manage Engine Service Desk Plus Cloud)
  • Collaborate on a well established new hire onboarding process where new joiners to the business will be setup for success with their technology.
  • Support the wider business with ad hoc information requests such as those relating to data security and ICT policies.
     

We would love to hear from you if you: 

 

  • At least 2 years hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
  • Have experience working with Microsoft Desktop operating systems and knowledge of IOS and Android operating systems.
  • Application Installation and configuration in products such as the Office 365 product set, Adobe Products, Autodesk, Bluebeam, CostX, and Ninja.
  • Operational knowledge of MS Azure/ Office365 and PowerShell.
  • Operational knowledge of group policy concepts and methods.
  • Day to day operations in VMWARE and VSphere.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting prowess.
  • Superb customer service and English communication
  • Adept at learning new technologies and staying up to date with industry trends
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines.
