160 Aldersgate has been shortlisted in the Best Refurbished/Recycled Workspace category in London
160 Aldersgate has been announced in the shortlist for the Best Refurbished/Recycled Workspace category for the BCO London Awards. The project delivered 266,000 sq.ft. of high-quality office accommodation in one of London’s most iconic business districts, with the refurbishment of the existing 1980’s office building designed by Fletcher Priest Architects.
Linesight provided full cost consultancy services to Castleforge Partners on this project, which delivered an uplift on the existing area through the addition of an extra story (circa 8% uplift on GIA); achieved BREEAM 2014 – Excellent rated office space; replaced the existing Aldersgate façade to give the building new identity; dramatically reconfigured the building’s atrium; reconfigured floor space to optimize use of the basement and ground floor areas and freed up roof space for terraces.
160 Aldersgate has been announced in the shortlist for the Best Refurbished/Recycled Workspace category for the BCO London Awards.
Congratulations to Castleforge Partners, Fletcher Priest, Buro Four, Waterman Group, McLaren Group and all other stakeholders on the project’s shortlisting.
