Linesight awarded RISE Corporate Support Scheme Badge from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

November 8th, 2021, Dublin, Ireland,– Linesight, a global consultancy firm, today announced that it has become the first company in the world to be awarded the RISE (Retain, Invest, Sustain and Engage) Corporate Support Scheme badge from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The RISE Corporate Support Scheme is a validation framework that recognises firms who provide global best practices in supporting candidates through their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) for MRICS or AssocRICS qualifications.

Central to the process of designing and developing the principles for such a framework was the use of Linesight’s own Quantity Surveyor(QS) Chartership Pathway as the prototype for the scheme.

This badge is part of the wider new RISE Framework at RICS. The RISE framework offers services and products to construction industry firms with the aim of supporting their workforce in becoming chartered surveyors.

In order to receive the RISE Corporate Support Scheme badge companies must abide by four clear principles and requirements of the scheme:

  • Support: the capacity and capability to support their candidates to achieve any RICS qualification.
  • Training: candidates receive training opportunities to assist them in reaching the required level of competence for their RICS assessment.
  • CPD: provision of a programme of Continued Professional Development (CPD) and life-long learning.
  • Innovation & Collaboration: empower candidates to support the future of the profession through encouraging innovative and collaborative mindsets and behaviours.

“We are honoured to be the recipient of this prestigious award. The development of young professionals and helping them achieve their next career milestone, such as chartership, is a crucial part of Linesight's strategy to retain and attract talent. This collaboration with RICS will undoubtedly drive the development of the next generation of construction professionals for a diverse, inclusive and globally connected future,”

said Paul Boylan, Group CEO, Linesight.

Commenting on the scheme, Anna Galiano, the RICS Strategic Solutions Lead said,

“The RICS collaboration with Sharon Hurley, Head of Group Learning and Development and Kelly Duane, Assistant People and Organisational Development Business Partner at Linesight in the development of this global programme is greatly appreciated. We firmly believe in the importance of training and continuing professional development (CPD) to shape the next generation of professionals.”
