Linesight is providing cost management services for DCI’s SYD02 hyperscale data centre in Eastern Creek, Sydney, supporting pre-contract activity, early works and ongoing design development.

DCI Data Centers’ SYD02 is a major hyperscale data centre development in Eastern Creek, Sydney, designed to support growing demand from cloud, content and managed service providers.

The 30,000m², 64MW facility forms part of DCI’s wider Eastern Creek campus and includes space for IT equipment, operational areas and ancillary office functions.

Early works on the main building commenced in 2025, with main construction scheduled to begin in mid-2026 and completion expected in early 2028.

Linesight has been providing Cost Management services on DCI’s SYD02 development since 2024. Our scope includes:

  • Pre-contract services for the substation and main building
  • Post-contract services for early works
  • Ongoing cost advice to support design development

Our team has been embedded in the project from the outset. This early and continuous involvement has provided continuity, strengthened our technical understanding and supported clear, commercially informed decision-making as the design has evolved.

Sustainability

The move to liquid to chip cooling enhances power utilisation effectiveness, while the compact layout supports a high IT load within a smaller footprint. These measures reduce environmental impact and improve overall operational performance.

The facility will also contribute to the local economy by creating jobs during construction and future operations.
