In this role you will:

  • Lead the Group's Global Mobility Tax Programme and oversee all Global Mobility tax compliance requirements, ensuring compliance with international tax, payroll and social security obligations for expatriates, international assignees, business travellers and remote workers
  • Act as the subject matter expert on employment tax, international assignment taxation and social security matters, providing commercially focused advice to the business
  • Oversee global employment tax reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with benefits reporting, withholding tax requirements, other employer compliance obligations across relevant jurisdictions
  • Partner with the wider Tax, Finance, HR and Payroll teams on strategic projects and business initiatives, providing global mobility and employment tax input where required  

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance stakeholders to develop and enhance Global Mobility policies, processes and governance frameworks, ensuring effective compliance, reporting and employee experience

  • Work with key stakeholders to manage the global independent contractor programme, ensuring robust policies, processes and compliance across relevant jurisdictions

  • Advise on tax-efficient compensation structures, assignment packages, relocation benefits and mobility policies
  • Monitor legislative developments and emerging risks in employment tax, social security and global mobility, providing proactive recommendations to the business.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Hold a professional tax qualification e.g. CTA/AITI
  • Have at least eight years Post Qualified Experience in a Global Mobility Tax or Employment Tax management role
  • Have strong technical expertise in international assignment taxation, global employment tax laws & treaties, social security and mobility tax risk management
  • Have experience managing a large globally mobile employee population within an in-house environment or advising multinational clients on international assignment and business traveller programmes
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are able to interact with and explain explain complex technical matters to stakeholders across different jurisdictions and functions
  • Are comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering practical solutions in a fast-paced international environment.
