BIM Technician

As a BIM Technician, you’ll be a key player in the successful planning and delivery of complex, large-scale data centre projects. What You Will Do:
- Support the Mechanical and Electrical Site Inspectors and coordinate and update the BIM models.
- Develop, manage, and implement BIM Execution Plans in alignment with client requirements and project goals.
- Support project teams in delivering BIM coordination across architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- Assist in the setup and management of the project’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), ensuring alignment with control systems and digital processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and improve project controls and data workflows, from design through to construction and operational handover.
- Produce and maintain accurate 3D models and digital deliverables using industry-standard tools such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Generate reports and dashboards that track BIM performance, digital workflows, and project health indicators to support decision-making.
- Participate in training and upskilling initiatives to support the internal team and vendor partners in BIM standards and tools.
- Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements by identifying user needs and delivering hands-on support and training.
- Ensure digital assets and BIM deliverables are consistently aligned with project goals, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Maintain an active role in planning for future project needs, supporting innovation in digital delivery and design integration.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree or equivalent experience in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in BIM coordination or digital construction, ideally within data centre or mission-critical environments.
- Proven ability to develop and implement BIM Execution Plans and contribute to digital delivery strategies.
- Strong technical knowledge of tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).
- Familiarity with digital construction workflows, asset data management, and technology-driven change.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation in digital delivery.
