In this role you will: 

  • Actively track manufacturing and delivery timelines for long lead equipment (LLE) and coordinate milestones with general contractors and vendors.
  • Prepare and present change order slides, reviewing vendor invoices, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Conduct prequalification and shortlisting of suppliers through bid analysis and expert negotiation of pricing, making award recommendations as required
  • Manage contract development, finalisation, and administration with rigorous attention to detail
  • Create and manage all requests for proposals (RFPs), POs, change orders and invoicing
  • Ensure all documentation is well organised and accessible
  • Assist with the onboarding of on-site supplier teams and foster a positive supplier relationship through expert liaison with site and vendor teams
  • Benchmark the latest industry trends and practices to keep a fresh view on the competitive landscape
  • Oversee post-contract management, including providing contract administration advice to the client, claims tracking, and producing and processing contract change orders 
  • Coordinate of storage, on site deliveries, installation and commissioning with the General Contractor’s (GC) works
  • Mitigate potential Extension of Time (EoT) claims from the GC and proactively recommending solution to resolve issues
  • Manage vendor milestone payments and variations
  • Provide regular updates to client stakeholders
  • Manager and reporting against budgets & timelines

We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Have grown your experience in a contracts and procurement role within a data centre or construction environment
  • Have previous experience with OFCI equipment RFPs
  • Have experience across the full procurement lifecycle, covering both pre-award and post-award phases.
  • Are skilled in handling escalations and resolving issues quickly under pressure.
  • Have strong proficiency in Excel and documentation for post-award administration tasks
  • Are comfortable working in ambiguity and adapting to dynamic challenges
  • Possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills for frequent interaction across teams
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
