Cost Manager: (Electrical Focus)

In this role you will:
- Support the commercial management of construction projects, ensuring cost control and value for money throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the assessment and resolution of change orders, variations, contractual matters, and commercial issues.
- Support the preparation, negotiation, and agreement of final accounts, including the assessment of contractor claims.
- Prepare estimates, cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts at various stages of project development.
- Produce accurate cost reports, valuations, and commercial analyses to support project decision-making.
- Assist with tender and procurement activities, including preparing bid documentation, evaluating contractor submissions, and preparing commercial recommendations.
- Monitor project expenditure, identify cost variances, and report commercial risks and opportunities to the project team.
- Maintain accurate cost records and ensure all commercial documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
- Ensure all work is delivered in accordance with project procedures, contractual requirements, and company quality standards.

- Have experience in pre- and post-contract cost management on varied projects
- Ideally have data centres experience
- Have a degree or comparable experience in a cost management or construction discipline
- Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
- Are happy to travel for short periods to meet with your clients, partners and team
- Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun.
