Financial Accountant

In this role you will:
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts; profit and loss account and balance sheet in line with Group set deadlines.
- Review monthly Group overheads and provide analysis and commentary to the Director of Financial Reporting
- Liaise with other departments to understand overhead variances versus budget/forecast
- Review data entry, control accounts, reconciliations and processes by AR & AP staff
- Review monthly payroll and support the payroll process as required.
- Assist the Director of Financial Reporting and other team members with consolidated reporting, including preparation of monthly pack
- Knowledge Transfer – provide training and support to junior members of the team and play an active role in their development.
- Liaise with other departments regarding accounts matters.
- Prepare year end files for audit and tax returns.
- Assist with the external audit where required.
- Involvement in finance projects as required.
- Ad hoc tasks as required.

- ACA/ACCA qualified with 1-3 years post qualification industry experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills are a necessity
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-motivated and resourceful
- Strong team player

- Flexible and capable of achieving results in a changing work environment
- Experience working within a multicurrency environment would be an advantage
- Computer systems covered: MS Suite plus Accounts packages
- All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
