In this role you will:  

  • Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts; profit and loss account and balance sheet in line with Group set deadlines.
  • Review monthly Group overheads and provide analysis and commentary to the Director of Financial Reporting
  • Liaise with other departments to understand overhead variances versus budget/forecast
  • Review data entry, control accounts, reconciliations and processes by AR & AP staff
  • Review monthly payroll and support the payroll process as required.
  • Assist the Director of Financial Reporting and other team members with consolidated reporting, including preparation of monthly pack
  • Knowledge Transfer – provide training and support to junior members of the team and play an active role in their development.
  • Liaise with other departments regarding accounts matters.
  • Prepare year end files for audit and tax returns.
  • Assist with the external audit where required.
  • Involvement in finance projects as required.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 1-3 years post qualification industry experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent Excel skills are a necessity
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-motivated and resourceful
  • Strong team player
  • Innovative
  • Flexible and capable of achieving results in a changing work environment
  • Experience working within a multicurrency environment would be an advantage
  • Computer systems covered: MS Suite plus Accounts packages
  • All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
