HV Technical Lead (Construction)
The opportunity
As a High Voltage (HV) Technical Lead at Linesight, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of HV electrical systems on major construction projects. Working with diverse, high-performing teams, you’ll help deliver complex infrastructure safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards. In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery of HV infrastructure from planning to energisation, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and utility connections
- Oversee construction sequencing, safety, commissioning readiness, and energisation planning
- Coordinate with utilities, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to align technical deliverables
- Drive resolution of technical issues and risks, ensuring compliance and quality
- Manage technical reviews, submittals, and inspection documentation
- Support variation and change management related to HV scope
- Attend and lead progress and commissioning meetings with key stakeholders
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have strong experience delivering HV electrical systems on large or complex construction projects
- Bring an engineering or construction background, ideally with HV or energy infrastructure experience
- Understand utility protocols, commissioning practices, and safety standards for HV systems
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality
