The opportunity

As a High Voltage (HV) Technical Lead at Linesight, you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of HV electrical systems on major construction projects. Working with diverse, high-performing teams, you’ll help deliver complex infrastructure safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards. We’ll support your growth and empower you to take ownership of your career.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of HV infrastructure from planning to energisation, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and utility connections
  • Oversee construction sequencing, safety, commissioning readiness, and energisation planning
  • Coordinate with utilities, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to align technical deliverables
  • Drive resolution of technical issues and risks, ensuring compliance and quality
  • Manage technical reviews, submittals, and inspection documentation
  • Support variation and change management related to HV scope
  • Attend and lead progress and commissioning meetings with key stakeholders

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have strong experience delivering HV electrical systems on large or complex construction projects
  • Bring an engineering or construction background, ideally with HV or energy infrastructure experience
  • Understand utility protocols, commissioning practices, and safety standards for HV systems
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality
