As a Legal Counsel in-house at Linesight, (12 month FTC) you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. In this role you will: 

  • Define and lead the contract review process that forms part of Bid Approvals 
  • Review existing contracts and identify favorable opportunities for Linesight 
  • Review and manage our portfolio of Insurance cover 
  • Identify and grow a network of local legal partners to provide support globally 
  • Develop and review various commercial contracts and MSA agreements, obtaining local advice as required 
  • Manage claims made against the business and the provision of information through any arbitration processes 
  • Be an advocate for legal, compliance and risk management best practice, designing and implementing policies and delivering training to the business 
  • Remain up-to-date with changes to legislation, rules and regulations that affect the business in our global markets 
  • Advise Executive board on legal matters as they arise and put forward clear recommendations for approval 

 

We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Are a Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial contract law related to the construction and professional services industries 
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing 
  • Love a dynamic environment with the chance to lead your own priorities and deadlines 
  • Have strong problem-solving skills, business acumen and a commercial mindset to create balanced solutions and recommendations 
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
