MEP Senior / Lead Cost Manager (Data Centre Projects)

In this role you will:
- Actively participate in the tender/bid process--from initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
- Analyse cost reports and regularly review with senior management, as the MEP expert in the team
- Conduct budget preparation including detailed cost modelling and benchmarking analysis, and reviews with senior management
- Manage project costs against budget throughout your project, including cost reviews, value engineering, and cost saving initiatives to increase client value
- Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
- Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
- Foster top performance and growth for your team via excellent mentorship and leadership
- Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client valu
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Are an experienced cost or commercial manager on large scale construction projects with increasing levels of leadership
- Have extensive cost manager experience focused on MEP, ideally from a consultancy background working on large and complex projects
- Have an understanding of MEP Systems and ability to read services drawings and schematics
- Are RICS chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help
- Have a degree or comparable qualification in construction, quantity surveying, mechanical or electrical engineering
- Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing
- Are detail oriented and quality focused
- Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
