The opportunity

As a OFCI Procurement Lead at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective. We will empower, support, and enable you to take real responsibility in your role so that you can take charge of your career progression with us. For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.

As the OFCI Procurement Lead, you will act as the owner’s representative for all Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed equipment and systems, serving as the strategic interface between the client, designers, general contractors, and critical vendors. You will lead early procurement, risk mitigation, and delivery alignment for long-lead and mission-critical OFCI packages to support schedule certainty and cost transparency across programs.

In this role you will:

  • Serve as the primary owner-side point of contact for all OFCI procurement activities, acting as a strategic partner to the client’s procurement, design, cost, and construction teams
  • Lead prequalification, vetting, and shortlisting of OFCI vendors (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls, IT, and commissioning-related systems)
  • Develop and manage OFCI procurement strategies, including early-buy recommendations for long-lead equipment to protect schedule and cost certainty
  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for OFCI packages, including pricing, payment milestones, lead times, warranties, and risk allocation
  • Manage contract development, execution, and administration for OFCI vendors with strict attention to scope definition, interfaces, and order of precedence
  • Partner with the client to define and implement pre-order guidelines for OFCI materials and service packages aligned with design maturity and construction sequencing
  • Coordinate closely with design teams, GCs, and commissioning agents to ensure OFCI scopes are fully integrated with IFC drawings, specifications, and installation responsibilities
  • Oversee vendor onboarding, logistics planning, delivery tracking, and site interface coordination for contractor-installed OFCI equipment
  • Lead and facilitate OFCI coordination meetings, providing clear reporting on cost, lead times, risk, submittals, and delivery status through dashboards and trackers
  • Identify and manage procurement-related risks (lead times, supply chain constraints, interface gaps, scope overlaps) and proactively drive mitigation plans
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve OFCI supply chain strategies across regional and global programs
  • Maintain procurement reporting dashboards and track cost performance against budgets.
  • Apply market expertise to drive innovation and best practices in OFCI sourcing, contracting, and vendor management
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on OFCI procurement processes, vendor management, and owner-side best practices

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have grown your procurement experience over the last 10 years with increasing levels of leadership
  • Proven experience managing OFCI packages (e.g., generators, Transformers, UPS systems, switchgears, chillers, UPS CRAH, PDU, STS, Busways and Fanwalls).
  • Have experience in a construction environment within the mission critical, data center,  pharmaceutical/medical device sectors or from an EPC background in the oil and gas sector
  • Have a degree in a procurement or supply chain management related discipline
  • Have a CIPS certification or are on the path to complete it. We can help
  • Have strong problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset to build balanced solutions and recommendations
  • Thrive on building positive relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
  • Are an excellent communicator both verbally and in writing

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
