We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage individual procurement packages on complex, construction-led data centre projects. You will work as part of an experienced procurement team, taking responsibility for defined scopes while supporting programme delivery across fast-paced projects.

What you’ll be doing

  • Run RFPs for assigned scopes, including RFIs, site visits (where required), tender clarifications (technical and commercial) and BAFO processes.

  • Support the procurement of key data centre packages such as UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, PDUs, CRAH’s, and E-Pods, ensuring they align with construction sequencing and site requirements

  • Coordinate technical and commercial bid evaluations and contribute to award recommendations.

  • Support contract development, statements of work and SLAs, working with legal and commercial teams as required.

  • Manage supplier engagement post-award, including order expediting and delivery tracking to support construction sequencing.

  • Work closely with senior procurement leads, construction managers and client technical teams to support agreed procurement strategies.

  • Use client procurement systems and follow stage-gate approvals, ensuring compliance with governance and project requirements.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in construction procurement, ideally within a consultancy, data centre, or contractor environment.

  • Exposure to MEP or long-lead equipment packages within capital projects.

  • Strong attention to detail and an organised, delivery-focused mindset.

  • CIPS qualified or working towards (support provided).

  • Confident communicator who works well in a team and is comfortable taking ownership of defined scopes.

Why join

You’ll gain hands-on experience on major data centre programmes, working alongside senior procurement professionals, with clear progression towards senior package or programme-level responsibility.
