In this role you will: 

  • Be responsible for working closely with the project controls / project management / cost management teams to design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards, in Tableau and Power Bi
  • Make data more accessible, understandable, and usable using data visualization tools 
  • Identify complex areas and processes within the business and produce visualizations that drive meaningful insights and provide actionable intelligence to our clients
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and both communicate and track progress of these tasks to internal and external stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Collect and interpret data, analysing results & creating automated reports for internal teams and/or external clients
  • Work alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs
  • Define new data collection and analysis processes
  • Generate business requirement documentation for any initiatives requiring Cross-Functional Team involvement.
  • Bring best practices to the Linesight team, in Data Management and Visualization of the same
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Train end users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
  • Evaluate our current data management processes and identify opportunities for ongoing improvements 
  • Update key partners with weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc executive and project status reports, project schedule updates, and project risks 

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Enjoy understanding trends and seeking anomalies in data 
  • Have a BSc or equivalent experience. MSc preferred 
  • Have experience dealing with Big Data
  • Have experience with data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio as well as other programs such as SQL, C programming, Data Studio, etc.) as well as advanced Excel skills 
  • Have relevant certifications from Microsoft / Google on data management and coding
  • Have strong database manipulation and mining skills 
  • Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing 
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines 
  • Thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun
