In this role you will: 

  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Gather data from primary and secondary sources to support research and decision-making.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support data-driven business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of research outputs.
  • Design and implement research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and statistical analyses.
  • Collect, validate, and analyse data ensuring accuracy, relevance, and reliability.
  • Manage and organise datasets for easy access, retrieval, and comparison.
  • Interpret and present research findings in a clear, concise, and structured manner for diverse stakeholders.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to benchmark performance and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on key research metrics and project KPIs.
  • Support research on pricing trends, economic indicators, and market forecasts.
  • Coordinate with external research partners and agencies as required.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, technological innovations, and evolving market trends.

We would love to hear from you if you: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in market/business/economic research.
  • Previous experience in construction, commodities, or related sectors is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in statistical tools and data visualization techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert complex research findings into clear, concise content.
  • Strong content writing and presentation skills to support report creation and client deliverables.
  • Prior experience in primary research, trend analysis, and price forecasting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, persistence, and a proactive approach to learning.
