You will lead complex pharmaceutical construction projects, including GMP manufacturing facilities and advanced therapy labs. This position ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while meeting business objectives and regulatory requirements. Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, you will drive collaboration across internal teams, consultants, and contractors to achieve successful outcomes.

You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective. We will empower, support, and enable you to take real responsibility in your role so that you can take charge of your career progression with us. For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through handover, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
  • Define project objectives, develop comprehensive plans, and maintain clear communication of roles and responsibilities across all parties.
  • Manage large-scale construction activities, monitoring progress, quality, and safety on-site, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Lead coordination between client teams, design consultants, and contractors for scheduling, snagging, and delivery milestones.
  • Control project budgets and spending plans, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to financial targets.
  • Implement robust governance processes, risk management strategies, and change control procedures.
  • Facilitate key meetings to track progress, address challenges, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion of documentation and smooth handover to operations.
  • Capture lessons learned and share best practices for continuous improvement.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • At least 10 years of project management experience in pharmaceutical or biopharma construction, including GMP facilities; with 3–5 years in cell therapy projects preferred.
  • Proven track record delivering projects from design through operational readiness.
  • Strong experience managing architecture/engineering firms, construction managers, and subcontractors.
  • In-depth knowledge of GMP regulations, validation processes, and capital project delivery for global organizations.
  • Skilled in integrated planning, critical-path scheduling, risk and dependency management, vendor oversight, and budget governance.
  • Degree in engineering, construction, or project management; PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in biopharma, precision medicine, and cell therapy.
