Luas Cross City gauge run is a resounding success

Moving at slow speeds, the gauge run involved two trams travelling at speeds of 5kph to 10kph in each direction, and was controlled by test marshals and supported by An Garda Siochána. The test run confirms that all new infrastructure is compatible with the trams, that the trams can move unhindered on the tracks and allows the engineering team to confirm the specifications.
