Linesight provided cost and schedule management services for the retrofit of a 1,045 sq.m dry powder inhaler (DPI) manufacturing facility of a confidential biopharmaceutical company.

Our team delivered cost control from project initiation through to completion, which involved estimate peer review, procurement management, change management, contingency management, schedule management, cost reporting, invoicing and cash flow.

Linesight assisted the client’s project manager and was instrumental in safeguarding their commercial interests from the initiation stage of building up cost estimates up to project execution and close-out. In addition, we also carried out the following:  

  • Advised on the funds required for the design stage and monitored all project expenses to ensure it was billed to the correct project 
  • Validated the EPCM progress claim and application to guarantee the value of works 
  • Provided timely updates to the project team on contingency drawdown and to the finance team on monthly cash flow, along with a detailed explanation of the variance against the baseline
