Linesight provided Project Cost Control services for WuXi Biologics new state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical manufacturing campus in Dundalk, Ireland.

The manufacturing facility is one of the world’s largest facilities using single-use bioreactor technology for commercial biomanufacturing, as well as next-generation processing technology.  

The design of the facility reflects best-in-class industry practice and represents a step change towards the ‘Factory of the Future’ concept. The development uses innovative technology optimised for the flexible production of multiple biologic drugs for multiple customers, using single-use disposable reactors, scale-up and scale-out systems and perfusion technology. 

Linesight services 

The Linesight Project Cost Control team provided an all embracing, single point of contact for all cost related services for this project.  

The Project comprises a main Manufacturing building, a Laboratory and Admin building, Warehouse, Central Utilities Building (CUB), along with associated ancillary buildings (Substation, WWTP etc.).

  • Delivered robust baseline estimate and controls through early engagement with key resources. 
  • Ensured that costs were tightly controlled by management of all client direct owners’ project costs. 
  • Ensured alignment was maintained throughout the project through pro-active management of all client stakeholders, both locally and remote.
