The opportunity

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant payrolls across a global organisation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers, contributing to both day-to-day payroll operations and exciting payroll transformation initiatives.

You will gain exposure to international payroll processes, collaborate with a global team, and support continuous improvement projects that enhance payroll efficiency and employee experience.


As a Senior Payroll Analyst, you will:

  • Support the end-to-end monthly payroll process
  • Prepare and validate payroll data inputs in collaboration with HR and internal stakeholders
  • Submit payroll inputs to external payroll providers in line with agreed timelines
  • Review draft payroll outputs and identify discrepancies or errors
  • Work with providers to resolve payroll issues accurately and promptly
  • Support payroll approvals and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Support all aspects of payroll-related banking and payments
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service and employee experience
  • Perform detailed payroll reconciliations and validations
  • Identify, escalate, and support resolution of payroll errors
  • Assist in preparing payroll reports and analysis
  • Maintain and update payroll documentation and process guides
  • Use Excel and other tools to manage and analyse payroll data
  • Support payroll transformation and implementation projects
  • Assist the Associate Director of Global Payroll with project activities
  • Contribute to data cleansing, data validation, and migration activities
  • Liaise with internal teams and external providers during project phases
  • Attend payroll project meetings and capture clear, structured meeting minutes
  • Provide support to the senior payroll team on ad-hoc tasks and initiatives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes
  • Collaborate effectively with global payroll colleagues

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • A minimum of 10+ years’ payroll experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in payroll, finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A genuine interest in payroll and delivering a best-in-class employee experience
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a global, collaborative team
  • A proactive, flexible approach and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Experience working with international payrolls (US, Ireland, UK) a plus.
  • Shift Timings 11:00 am to 8:00 pm IST and more closely aligned to EMEA and US during critical periods eg: 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. lookups, data analysis, reconciliation)
  • Experience using payroll systems and working with external payroll providers
