Global construction consultancy firm, Linesight, has announced the launch of its Project Controls Pathway – a dedicated, in-house training and development programme that will support participants in obtaining a formal and internationally-recognised qualification in project controls. Upon completion of the course, Linesight participants will have achieved Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) accreditation. The Pathway will be delivered by facilitation partner, 20/20 Project Management Training, through a series of virtual classroom workshops, as well as in-person masterclasses that will be conducted across various Linesight locations. Participants will also complete a team assignment based on a simulated engineering project, in order to put their learnings into practice.
Speaking about the programme, Robert Farrell, Director of Risk and Scheduling at Linesight noted:
“The formation of our Project Controls Pathway represents a step change in Learning and Development for new and experienced Linesight professionals, in the pursuit of greater technical competence. The Pathway demonstrates the business’ commitment to providing a dynamic and responsive career path in line with the growth of Project Controls in the wider marketplace. Ultimately, this forms part of the bedrock from which the company will continue to strategically grow at a sustainable rate.”
“20/20 is extremely proud to be partnering with Linesight in support of its Project Controls Pathway. Working together, we have developed and will execute a unique programme that will provide individuals with key technical knowledge, as well as the opportunity to apply the learning in a safe environment,”
commented Phillip Jefferies, Director of Sales and Marketing at 20/20 Project Management Training, continuing:
“The programme will support the development and enhancement of crucial skills within Linesight, which will in turn help to drive capability in the critical areas of planning, estimating, cost control and risk, and will ultimately provide benefit to the individuals themselves, to Linesight and to its clients”.
Wrapping up, Tom Vincent, Chief Executive Officer at 20/20 Project Management Training remarked:
"From the outset, it has been a pleasure to work collaboratively with Linesight, to understand its vision, and create a sustainable solution for growth within the area of Project Controls. It is impressive to see the investment Linesight is making in its people to grow their own talent, and advance employees’ technical competence. We are delighted to be part of this journey with Linesight and are excited to see the team achieve their strategic objective."
