Planning and Scheduling Services for Large Scale Cell Culture Drain Replacement

Linesight provided Planning and Scheduling services to a global biopharmaceutical company, overseeing the replacement of a waste drain system at a Large-Scale Cell Culture (LSCC) manufacturing facility. Our team was responsible for crafting a detailed project schedule, a task that demanded meticulous planning, development, and continuous monitoring as the project unfolded.

The facility was confronted with drainage challenges as waste from all floors was channelled into the under-slab process drain system. Previous underground piping failures had resulted in process waste infiltrating the secondary containment and basement.

The project scope included the replacement of underground piping for process, bio, and waste buffer systems, as well as the construction of exterior waste lift stations, both above-grade and below-grade piping, and small interior lift stations. To maintain productivity and meet operational goals, Linesight ensured uninterrupted facility operations.
