The opportunity

As a Structural Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams nurturing a strong social dynamic and a shared sense of achievement. You will gain vast industry experience that will open doors for you, extend your skillset and expand your perspective. We will empower, support, and enable you to take real responsibility in your role so that you can take charge of your career progression with us. For us lasting trusted relationships are everything, both with our teams and our clients.

In this role you will:

  • Provide day-to-day construction delivery governance for the structural
scope across a gigascale, multi-phase datacenter program, including safety leadership and
coordination with the GC and structural trades.
  • Lead constructability and delivery planning for structural concepts and
work packages (primary/secondary framing, floor slabs, foundations, and equipment load
support), including sequencing, access, temporary works considerations, and risk mitigation
    recommendations.
  • Manage and control structural interfaces with modular/productized elements (support conditions, tolerances, embeds, connection details, heavy-lift requirements,
and setting procedures) by maintaining readiness gates and acceptance criteria from
    fabrication through on-site installation.
  • Drive integrated schedule planning and look-ahead coordination for structural work packages (excavation, piling/ground improvement, foundations, steel erection,
deck/slab pours, precast, and enclosure structural supports), including constraint removal and
    readiness gates.
  • Manage scope, change control, and commercial impacts for structural scope and related interfaces (envelope/climate barrier supports, equipment yards, and internal/external rooms and spaces), documenting impacts and required decisions.
  • Manage geotechnical and foundation delivery interfaces by aligning
design assumptions to field conditions, defining required testing/verification plans, and driving
timely decisions when conditions differ from assumptions (including documenting
    schedule/cost impacts).
  • Lead vendor/GC performance management for structural packages,
including RFI/submittal tracking, progress measurement, quality surveillance (rebar
placement, concrete placement, steel tolerances), and punch/defect resolution.
  • Coordinate structural requirements for internal and external plant/equipment yards and spaces, including housekeeping pads, trenches/pits, access platforms, and structural supports for mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ensure enclosure and climate barrier constructability considerations are
incorporated where structural interfaces drive performance (e.g., slab edge details,
penetrations, thermal breaks, air/water barrier continuity).
  • Provide routine, executive-ready reporting on safety, schedule, cost/change, quality, and risks for the structural scope and shall escalate decisions through
the Construction Program Manager and DCD RCM as required.

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering
(structural focus), or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Hold professional registration/licensure (Professional Engineer/Chartered
Engineer or equivalent), where applicable, or shall demonstrate comparable professional
    competency.
  • Have a minimum of ten years of experience in structural engineering and/or
structural construction management, including large-scale mission critical, industrial, or critical
    infrastructure projects.
  • Have experience with foundations and geotechnical interfaces (piles, ground improvement, dewatering, excavation support) and with structural systems (steel, concrete, precast).
  • Have experience coordinating structural design with modular/productized delivery, including tolerance management, embeds, connection details, and installation sequencing.
  • Have a strong knowledge of applicable building codes and structural
standards and shall be able to communicate code/technical requirements to delivery teams.
  • Can demonstrate proficiency with drawing/model review tools (e.g., CAD, Revit/BIM, Bluebeam or equivalent) and field verification workflows.
  • Can demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability
    to produce concise, decision-oriented reporting.

All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually with video required.
