Linesight has taken two significant steps forward in its sustainability journey, joining the United Nations Global Compact and securing approval of its near-term emissions reduction target from the Science Based Targets initiative.
Together, these milestones reinforce our commitment to responsible business practices, ethical governance, and credible, science-based climate action across our global operations.
By joining the UN Global Compact, Linesight has aligned its operations and governance with internationally recognised principles covering human rights, labour standards, environmental responsibility, and anti-corruption.
As a global consultancy delivering cost, project, and programme management services, participation in the UN Global Compact supports the continued integration of responsible business practices across how Linesight operates and delivers for clients worldwide.
This commitment aligns with Linesight’s nine priority United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which guide decision‑making across the organisation and encompass our focus on health, education, equality, clean energy, economic opportunity, responsible production, climate action, and accountable institutions.
Commenting on this news, Paul Boylan, CEO said:
Joining the United Nations Global Compact and securing approval of our science-based emissions reduction target are important milestones for Linesight. They reflect the standards we set for ourselves and the way our people operate every day, with integrity, accountability, and a long-term view of the impact we have for our clients and the communities we work in.
In parallel, Linesight’s near-term emissions reduction target has been formally approved by the Science Based Targets initiative. This approval confirms alignment with the SBTi Near-Term Criteria Version 1.0 and validation against the Net-Zero Criteria Version 1.3, embedding scientific rigour and accountability into the company’s climate commitments.
SBTi approval also supports the rollout of tools, guidance, and training to help employees understand their role in delivering emissions reductions across energy use, travel, and supplier engagement.
Danielle Hurley, Global Sustainability Program Lead, added:
SBTi approval brings scientific rigour and accountability to our climate commitments, but it is our people who will deliver them. Combined with our UN Global Compact membership, this gives our teams a clear framework to act on credible data, make informed decisions, and drive practical progress across our operations and supply chain.

Together, UN Global Compact membership and SBTi target approval represent an important step in Linesight’s broader ESG journey, translating commitment into credible, measurable action.
