Linesight recently welcomed His Excellency Edward Walsh, US Ambassador, to Hoban House.
The visit was coordinated by Jimmy Hanley, Vice President, Americas and Grace Gaffney, Senior Cost Manager, from our New York office. The Ambassador was welcomed by members of the European leadership team, including Niall Greene, Paul Brady and Damien Gallogly, alongside some of Linesight’s Global Vice Presidents, including Paul Butler, Derek McNamara and Stephen Ashe.
Discussions focused on Linesight, our services and our global footprint across key sectors and locations. The Ambassador shared his interest in the construction industry, informed by his experience leading a contracting business and delivering projects across the US east coast. This provided valuable context for a practical discussion on delivery, investment and operating at scale.
The Ambassador also outlined his priorities during his term. He described Ireland’s role as a gateway to Europe and highlighted opportunities for collaboration between Linesight and the US Embassy. These included engagement linked to the United States’ 250-year anniversary, as well as wider business collaboration, particularly in life sciences and artificial intelligence.
The visit reflected the strength of Linesight’s international presence and our continued engagement with global partners across government and industry.
