The A6 Dungiven to Drumahoe scheme is one of Northern Ireland’s largest infrastructure projects, delivering 25.5 km of dual two-lane carriageway to replace the existing single carriageway and significantly enhance connectivity, safety and journey reliability along a key regional transport corridor. Procured under an NEC3 Option C target cost contract, the scheme incorporates 22 structures, including overbridges, river bridges and under bridges, alongside four compact grade separated junctions, a new left-in-left-out arrangement at Ardmore junction, three roundabouts and two park and ride facilities.

Linesight provided professional construction consultancy services and strategic support throughout delivery, beginning with cost planning and procurement advice, alongside contract drafting and tender preparation with detailed bid appraisal. As the project progressed into construction, Linesight delivered robust cost management and control, structured change management and project scheduling services, ensuring strong commercial governance and programme oversight across this complex, large scale infrastructure scheme.
