As car manufacturers ramped up their operations to meet the demand for electric vehicles (EVs), Linesight supported some of the industry’s leading automotive and technology companies in planning and developing their manufacturing plants.

Our client, a leading EV manufacturer, expanded its Advanced Manufacturing Plant in the United States to increase capacity and prepare for the production of its new electric SUV model. This expansion sought to bring all essential functions into one campus, including a new General Assembly, new Quality, Stamping, and Semi‑Knock Down (SKD) centers, expanded Body and Paint shops, a new logistics space, and a new Powertrain facility. The expanded state‑of‑the‑art factory allowed the company to improve its quality processes, provide manufacturing flexibility, and increase efficiency.

A key highlight of the expansion was the transformation of the existing General Assembly building into a world‑class Paint shop. This upgrade improved the painting process, ensured top‑tier aesthetic quality for the vehicles, and positioned the client at the forefront of automotive innovation.

Linesight provided Planning and Scheduling services to the client, collaborating closely with the project team to ensure client objectives were met and the project was completed on time.
