Linesight has officially opened its new office in Helsinki, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth in Finland and strengthening its long-term commitment to the market.
The new office, located in Kamppi, provides a permanent base for Linesight’s growing Finnish operations. Linesight has supported construction projects in Finland since 2022 and is increasing its local presence as demand for expertise in complex construction continues to grow.
The office was officially launched on 28 October, bringing together clients, industry partners and colleagues to mark the next stage of Linesight’s development in Finland. Paul Sherlock, Ambassador of Ireland to Finland, was among those in attendance at the event.
The Helsinki office forms part of Linesight’s wider investment in developing a strong local organisation. The business plans to recruit up to 100 professionals in Finland by the end of 2027, across areas including project management, cost management, construction management, quality, health and safety, and mechanical and electrical engineering.
Padraig Leahy, Senior Director, Europe and Country Lead for Finland, is leading this growth. Having previously served as Vice President in Linesight’s Americas business, he brings more than 30 years of international construction project management experience to the role.
Opening our office in Helsinki is about more than establishing a permanent location. It reflects our commitment to building lasting relationships with our clients and industry partners, developing local capability and creating a strong organisation that can grow with the Finnish market for years to come.
Finland’s growing data center market is creating demand for specialist construction expertise. The expansion creates new opportunities for people in Finland to develop specialist skills and build long-term careers. Linesight plans to support this through targeted training and professional development, with previous data centre experience not required for every role.
The Helsinki opening follows several years of project activity in Finland and establishes a stronger foundation for Linesight’s continued investment in its people, clients and partnerships across the market.
