The Elevate Award recognises and celebrates individuals who have made exceptional contributions to promoting gender diversity and inclusivity. It acknowledges the efforts of those who have created environments where women cannot only participate but also lead and excel in the surveying field.
This year's award ceremony was a highlight of the SCSI - Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland National Conference, held on Thursday, 7th December, at the iconic Croke Park in Dublin. The event was a gathering of over 200 industry professionals which culminated in the SCSI Surveying Excellence Awards where Linesight proudly had four candidates shortlisted in different categories.
Upon receiving the award, Kim Hegarty expressed her gratitude stating:
This was totally unexpected, but I am delighted to receive this award; getting this recognition from my peers is an honour. It is important to me to promote a positive career route, for women in particular, while also adapting to the needs of our teams and creating a more inclusive and equal future in doing so. It is a celebration of the strides we have made and a reminder that there is still more work to be done. We need to continue to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create environments that empower and support everyone. Together, we can build a more inclusive and equitable profession attractive to all.
